Hotel total was a pop-up hotel and event in the former church produced by Designmetropole Aachen. After the three months of performances, events of various scales, hosting people, the project culminated with a stunning closing party, where we were asked to come up with a concept for visuals, live-performance and film documentation. In spite of the spontaneity of this show, we still had a night before the event and mapped it for a few hours that night, then carefully selected and adjusted a visual content to the beautiful architecture of the former church. During the show, visitors could lay down on the mattresses and sofas on the floor just like in a planetarium, immersing themselves in the live performance.
