Live VJing for Modus – performance “House”
Tasks: Concept, stage design, live performance of visuals for collective Modus in Ludwig Forum Space Venue Aachen. Software: Premiere Pro, Resolume Arena 5, After Effects, Ableton Live.
For this project, I created the visual concept for every single part of the sound set, using midi, starting every section of the visual set. The scope of work was quite extensive and required about 3 weeks of preparations alone. Additionally, we created stage objects and all the stage design, and mapped them from a two-point perspective; the prepared visual set-up reacted to the beat and all the rest was live mixed and performed. This event took place with friendly support of the Junge Freunde Ludwig Forum for the concert of our friends – the band “Modus”.
